If you want to see "Beautiful Views" of the falls, you must visit this place. My family and I loved it. Definitely worth the 30 minute drive from Asheville, NC.Full review by K W

A pretty scenic drive in the fall. There was a helpful ranger in the visitors center. We found a quiet and pleasant picnic area. The Looking Glass Falls was very popular but worth a hike to see. Lots…Full review by Arthur G

The weather in late March in western NC is usually in the low to mid 60’s during the day and mid 40’s at night. But kind of like Georgia it has snowed on rare occasions when a cold front drops down from the north. If I plan a trip I monitor the weather report weeks ahead to make sure u come prepared for a cold snap.

Hi! We are coming up in late October from flat, boring Florida. I'm looking for an easy-ish trail that offers great views. Any suggestions?
A:
Best advice is first stop in at the ranger station for a map and advice on trails. Wife and I are 62 and from flat Michigan and hiked a few trails with success and fun.
