Former San Francisco Giants manager and current special advisor Bruce Bochy explained why he is confident in Tony Vitello as the team's new manager.

Morning, all! Bruce Bochy is grateful for his time in Texas but is happy to be returning to a role in San Francisco. Most of the sports talk this morning is about the departure of Nico Harrison and the mess his successor will be inheriting.

Bochy was the Giants’ manager from 2007 to 2019, before announcing his retirement. But baseball was not out of his system yet, so he eventually returned to manage the Texas Rangers in 2023, when he led them to their very first ever World Series Championship. (You know, after helping the Giants block them from one in 2010.)
