HISD families held a candlelight vigil to pray for the safe return of Sinclair Elementary student Greta Toranzo, who went missing after floods at Camp Mystic.

Heavy rains unleashed a “catastrophic” and deadly flood Friday on the Guadalupe River in Central Texas, prompting evacuations and a frantic search for missing people. At least 32 people were killed in the flood, officials said Saturday afternoon, as both state and county authorities emphasized many unknowns remain.

Extreme flooding has left at least 32 dead in Kerr County. Some two dozen kids are missing from Camp Mystic, a Christian girls camp.
