A 17-year-old boy is facing attempted murder charges after he allegedly fired shots at CPD officers on Sunday night, police said.

CHICAGO - Two teens were arrested after shots were fired at Chicago police officers Sunday night on the South Side. Officers responded to a disturbance around 7:30 p.m. where several people were gathered in the 8200 block of South Coles Avenue.

CHICAGO - A man has died after being gunned down on the sidewalk on Chicago's South Side, police said. The shooting occurred just after 6 p.m. Saturday in the 900 block of E. 81st Street. The man was shot multiple times and transported to the University of Chicago Hospital in critical condition, according to Chicago police.

Around 7:35 p.m., officers were responding to a disturbance in the 8200 block of South Coles Avenue and noticed multiple males in the area when one of them fired a shot in their direction, police said.

Two women were shot in Chicago's East Garfield Park neighborhood early Tuesday morning. Around 1 a.m., police said the women, 22 and 23 years old, were driving in the 2800 block of West Fulton when they saw someone get out of a dark-colored car and fire shots.

A 38-year-old man died Tuesday after being shot multiple times in the Roseland neighborhood on the city's South Side.

Chicago Police say the victim was on a sidewalk near 81st Street and Drexel Avenue in the East Chatham neighborhood when he was shot several times around 6 p.m.
