Duke ended up making it to the Final Four before being eliminated by the Houston Cougars. Despite the loss, there is nothing to hang their heads about. Flagg and the Blue Devils lived up to the hype and were one of the best four teams in the nation.

The first domino of Duke's likley offseason overhaul fell on Wednesday when star freshman Kon Knueppel officially declared for the 2025 NBA Draft. Knueppel is the first Blue Devils player to announce his draft decision.

Knueppel is the second Duke star behind projected No. 1 pick Cooper Flagg who is expected to be drafted in the Top 10. Knueppel was the Blue Devils' second-highest scorer behind Flagg, averaging 14.4 points, 4.0 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game through 39 contests.
