AAP has claimed that the attack was orchestrated by BJP candidate Parvesh Verma’s supporters, who allegedly aimed to intimidate Kejriwal amid rising tensions ahead of the assembly elections.

Arvind Kejriwal said that the AAP couldn't deliver on three promises in Delhi, the cleaning of the Yamuna river, providing clean drinking water and making Delhi's roads of European standard.

Sharing a clip of the incident, the AAP wrote on 'X', "Fearing defeat, BJP panicked, got its goons to attack Arvind Kejriwal. BJP candidate Pravesh Verma's goons attacked Arvind Kejriwal with bricks and stones while he was campaigning and tried to hurt him so that he could not campaign."

Arvind Kejriwal alleges that police stopped the screening of a documentary revealing alleged conspiracies behind his party’s leaders’ arrests. The police cite election regulations, while Kejriwal accuses the BJP of fearing the documentary’s content.
