Doc Rivers and guard Rajon Rondo were a lethal duo in Boston, where Rivers spent 12 years as the Celtic's head coach and where Rondo had the only four All-Star
Milwaukee Bucks head coach Doc Rivers doesn't seem confident in the pending MRI results for Giannis Antetokounmpo.
The sample size is still quite small, but Rivers was not sugarcoating his comments in Indiana about the defensive effort of his all-bench units to this point. If Rivers is going to continue using all-bench units, the Bucks will need to perform significantly better.
If Giannis Antetokounmpo remains out for the full two weeks in his 1-2 week diagnosis, the Milwaukee Bucks will have to scratch and claw as best they can in a roughly seven-game stretch during his absence.

Austin Rivers ribs his dad Doc over missing out on NBA money: "Why couldn't you have gotten me a mid-level contract this summer?"
So, it was only a matter of time before Austin got to interview his father, Milwaukee Bucks head coach Doc Rivers. That moment came on Monday night as the younger Rivers spoke to the elder one in a hilarious conversation before the game between the Bucks and the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Austin added, “Then I did it again.” When they started over, Austin began by calling his father “Doc.” The former NBA Coach of the Year gave a short, incredulous response before the two laughed it off and then continued with the brief segment.
There were 32 lead changes, Giannis had 18 assists, and rookie Kon Knueppel scored a career-best 32 points in a wild Bucks NBA Cup win.
