(Reuters) -Euro zone inflation edged up last month to the European Central Bank's 2% target, confirming that the era of runaway prices is over and shifting policymaker focus to trade war-induced economic volatility.

E uro zone inflation rose slightly to 2% in June, according to flash data from statistics agency Eurostat, meaning consumer prices in the single currency area are now in line with the European Central Bank's target of 2%.
