This Sunday, Taylor Fritz captured his first title of the year with a 6–3, 7–6 win over Alexander Zverev in the final of the BOSS Open in Stuttgart. The result also allowed the American to climb in the ATP Rankings.
Alexander Zverez joked that he doesn't want to see Taylor Fritz again for a few years as he gave a sweary reaction to losing the BOSS Open final to his rival in Stuttgart. The American secured his fourth ATP Tour title on grass with an emphatic 6-3, 7-6 (0) victory.
Taylor Fritz, who beat Alexander Zverev in the final at Stuttgart at the weekend to make a strong start to the grass court season, reclaimed his place in the top four in the ATP rankings on Monday.
