The ceasefire in Gaza is broadly holding, despite sporadic clashes between the Israel Defense Forces and Gaza militants -- plus deadly IDF airstrikes.

The Palestinian group Hamas has confirmed the death of senior commander Raed Saad in an Israeli airstrike on Gaza City, despite a ceasefire agreement, Anadolu Ajansi reported.

The IDF added that his death "significantly degrades Hamas' ability to reestablish its capabilities."
