Epic Games CEO Tim Sweeney Shares That the Game Store Is Coming to the Google Play Store
Epic Games will soon bring Fortnite and other titles back to Android platforms following a legal victory that allows it to launch the Epic Games Store on Google Play. CEO Tim Sweeney confirmed the news on X, saying the store, which is already available via Epic’s website, will soon arrive on the Play Store as well.
A 9to5 Google report emerged over the past week which suggested Epic Games had submitted Fortnite to Google Play in the hopes of a special exception to the 30 percent rule. Google said no.
