MUMBAI: Fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah was picked for India's Champions Trophy squad on Saturday despite doubts about his fitness. Bumrah suffered back spasms and didn't bowl on the last day of the fifth and final test against Australia in Sydney two weeks ago.

Injured quick Jasprit Bumrah has been named in India's provisional 15-member squad for next month's Champions Trophy, while spinner Kuldeep Yadav is also set to return after picking up a groin issue in October.

Ace India pacer Jasprit Bumrah is to undergo a scan before Champions Trophy 2025. He however will be included in the 15-member squad but his name will be marked with an asterisk, implying subject to fitness.
