Jets quarterback Justin Fields was carted to the locker room after an apparent lower leg injury during training camp on Thursday. UPDATE 2:10 pm: The Jets announced that Fields sustained a dislocated toe in his right foot and will be day-to-day.
According to a report from ESPN's Rich Cimini, Fields has suffered an injury to his toe. There has been no update about the severity of the injury yet. Fields was signed to be the replacement for Aaron Rodgers during NFL free agency. The Jets gave him a two-year, $40 million contract.
