One of the doctors accused of providing ketamine to actor Matthew Perry, who died in October 2023, has agreed to plead guilty to four counts of distribution of ketamine, a plea agreement filed Monday shows.

Dr. Salvador Plasencia, an urgent care clinic operator in the Los Angeles area, could face up to 40 years in prison in connection with the actor’s 2023 death.

Matthew Perry ’s doctor has agreed to plead guilty to supplying the Friends star with ketamine, before he suffered a fatal overdose. The late actor – who publicly struggled with addiction up until his death – died aged 54 in October 2023 from the ‘acute effects of ketamine’ and drowning, an autopsy later revealed.
