Lebanese authorities have handed over dozens of Syrians — including former officers in the Syrian army under Assad — to the new Syrian government.

Handover took place in presence of Lebanese security delegation at Arida border crossing between 2 countries, says Lebanon’s National News Agency - Anadolu Ajansı

A Lebanese security official and war monitor said the country on Saturday expelled no fewer than 70 Syrian officers and soldiers, returning them to Syria after they crossed into the country illegally via informal routes.
