“No Kings” protests are happening across Oregon and the rest of the country Saturday to protest the Trump administration on the president’s birthday. Multiple protests are scheduled in Portland, the largest of which is starting in Tom McCall Waterfront Park at noon.

City of Portland and Multnomah County leaders joined together on Friday to share a message with the community ahead of Saturday’s anticipated “No Kings” protests.

With protests over immigration enforcement raids, as well as planned demonstrations against President Trump over the weekend happening locally and nationwide, Portland city and county leaders addressed the community Friday morning.
