The Steelers may be taking a familiar approach to landing Aaron Rodgers by targeting one of his former favorite Packers receivers.

On Wednesday, the Pittsburgh Steelers moved on from wide receiver George Pickens by trading him to the Dallas Cowboys. This left the Steelers with a huge vacancy at wide receiver. Pittsburgh is also still in a holding pattern at quarterback as Aaron Rodgers remains undecided about his future.

The Packers will have to make some tough decisions, as it will be virtually impossible to retain all their starters without putting themselves in an even more challenging cap position. The Packers need draft assets to ensure they have the ammunition to offset potential losses in free agency.
