The Philadelphia Phillies are predicted to complete a blockbuster three-team trade with the New York Yankees for a center field upgrade.

It hasn’t been easy for the Yankees since the All-Star break. They split the first six games, and they left Toronto on Wednesday with a bad taste in their mouths because they didn’t gain any ground on the first-place Blue Jays in the American League East race.

The Yankees cut their deficit to 6-5 in the seventh. Anthony Volpe, on his bobblehead night, hit a 340-foot solo shot. Ben Rice had a pinch-hit, one-out single and later scored on Aaron Judge’s sac fly.
