Rockstar has officially confirmed Red Dead Redemption for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Nintendo Switch 2.
Originally released back in 2010 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, Red Dead Redemption is now also officially available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 and PC. Of course, you can play the PS4 version on PS5 (and the Xbox 360 version on Xbox Series X/S) but no native version for modern consoles exists, yet.

Red Dead Redemption has been rated for Nintendo Switch 2, PS5 and Xbox Series X/S consoles. Red Dead Redemption was first released for PS3 and Xbox 360 on May 18, 2010, before getting PS4 and Nintendo Switch ports in August 2023.

Red Dead Redemption has already been re-released once before on PS4 and Nintendo Switch back in 2023 (the cowboy epic was already available on modern Xbox consoles thanks to backwards compatibility), but the organization that assigns age ratings to video games, the ESRB, has other consoles attached to a new listing.
