After making waves over the weekend for a dust-up over transgender athletes in sports, Houston Olympian Simone Biles broke her silence on Tuesday.

Biles has reiterated, however, that sports should be inclusive and that trans athletes deserve empathy and respect.

Biles's post has caused days of uproar, resulting in Biles posting again to clarify and apologize for her initial statement.
