The killings of Rob Reiner and his wife Michele Singer Reiner have left their communities in Hollywood and Democratic politics stunned.

Nick Reiner got into a fight with his parents, Rob and Michele Singer Reiner, at a holiday party Saturday night. The couple’s youngest child, Romy, found them deceased inside their Brentwood home Sunday afternoon. Officers tracked Nick down 15 miles away in South L.A. on Sunday evening; he was booked on suspicion of murder early Monday morning.

Woods — a vocal conservative and supporter of President Donald Trump — became emotional while talking about progressive activist Reiner, whom he credits with saving his acting career.
