Jake Guentzel scored a hat-trick and the Lightning scored twice on the power play to carry the home team over the visiting New Jersey Devils on Tuesday. The Lightning built a 3-0 lead behind a pair of goals by Guentzel and another for Nikita Kucherov before the Devils scored a late goal in the second period.

Anthony Cirelli, one of the Lightning’s most reliable two-way forwards, is expected to return Tuesday as Tampa Bay hosts the New Jersey Devils at Benchmark International Arena. Cirelli has been sidelined with an upper-body injury since Nov.
