Brock Purdy has shaken off Sunday’s three-interception game and now braces for a Cleveland Browns defense led by NFL sack king Myles Garrett.
The 49ers offense ranks 8th in the NFL in Expected Points Added (EPA) per play since Week 7. That type of offensive production is going to make things interesting in a playoff setting. This is led by a rushing unit that ranks 9th in EPA/play and 3rd in rushing success rate over that time.
"I’ve been coaching over 20 years, and I’ve never been in a situation where a contract’s been voided," Shanahan said. "So it was extremely unusual to me." Shanahan declined to explain the reasoning for the move,
