NFL training camps begin this week, offering windows into where the league’s most intriguing rookies, quarterback battles and contract disputes stand.

This wasn’t the Steelers start Aaron Rodgers likely envisioned. Pittsburgh’s new star quarterback was intercepted on his first throw Thursday at training camp in Latrobe, Pa., with linebacker Patrick Green picking off a pass intended for wide receiver DK Metcalf.

Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Aaron Rodgers sent a clear message to teammate and former Ohio State star Will Howard. “I Told him last night he was in the room we were talking about signals. I said What can I do for you because I want to be a support system for him and pass on anything I can," Rodgers said.
