The U.S. aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson arrived at the southern port city of Busan in South Korea on Sunday as a show of force against North Korea, South Korea's navy said.

North Korea has strongly criticized the United States over what it calls “political and military provocations.” The statement came after the US Navy aircraft carrier USS Carl Vinson docked in the South Korean port city of Busan on March 2.

South Korea’s Transport Ministry on Friday said that a spare power bank was a possible cause of a fire that engulfed an Air Busan 298690 KS plane in January. While citing interim investigation results in a statement,
