Disney has announced that “Coco 2″ is in the works. The sequel is set to be released in 2029 and is already in progress at Pixar Animation Studios, according to The Associated Press.

During the company's 2024 D23 event, Disney announced that the first-ever attraction themed to Pixar's Coco is coming to Disney's California Adventure in Disneyland California.

The film brought home two Oscars, for best animated feature and best original song. "Coco 2" is scheduled to be released in 2029. The Walt Disney Company is the parent company of this ABC station.
