Clint Hill, the Secret Service agent who ran into the line of fire to shield President John F. Kennedy and the first lady in Dallas on November 22, 1963, died Friday. He was 93 years old.

Clint Hill, the US Secret Service agent who leaped on John F Kennedy's limousine to shield the mortally wounded president and long wondered if he could have saved him by acting quicker, has died aged 93.

Mr. Hill dove onto the presidential limo in a heroic attempt to save President John F. Kennedy when he was assassinated in Dallas in 1963.
