Chiefs sign former Raiders QB Gardner Minshew as Patrick Mahomes’ backup
The Kansas City Chiefs have a new backup for quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Former Las Vegas Raiders quarterback Gardner Minshew has reportedly agreed to a contract with the Chiefs. Minshew was released by the Raiders this week after struggling in his lone season in Las Vegas, throwing 10 interceptions to just nine touchdowns.
