Krispy Kreme is bringing back a fan-favorite doughnut, and fans can get one for free. They’ll have to dress the part, though. Starting Saturday, March 15, anyone wearing green can get a free O’riginal Glazed doughnut at participating Krispy Kreme shops nationwide, according to the Charlotte-based doughnut chain.

The luck of the Irish is heading to Krispy Kreme this weekend and it's bringing with it free doughnuts, among other things. To celebrate St. Patrick's Day, the coffee and doughnut shop has announced that they're giving away an O’riginal Glazed Doughnut (their Original Glazed doughnut turned green) to guests who visit Krispy Kreme in-shop or via drive-thru from March 15 through March 17.

Krispy Kreme is making St. Patrick’s Day extra sweet with a lineup of four festive doughnuts, plus a major giveaway that will allow thousands of lucky customers to win a Pot of Gold Pass — scoring them a dozen free doughnuts every month for a year.
