Lake effect snow is expected from 7 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 22 to Sunday at 1 p.m. NWS says accumulations of 4 to 7 inches of snow are possible. NWS warns that travel could be difficult.

On Tuesday at 9:35 p.m. the National Weather Service issued an updated lake effect snow warning in effect until Wednesday at 6 a.m. for Herkimer County.
