Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly doubles down on military "illegal orders" stance despite President Donald Trump's threats, telling late-night host Jimmy Kimmel he's "not backing down."

The Pentagon says it's investigating Democratic Sen. Mark Kelly of Arizona over possible breaches of military law after the former Navy pilot joined a handful of other lawmakers in a video that called for U.

The Defense secretary's comments mocking the retired U.S. Navy captain come after the Pentagon said it had "received serious allegations of misconduct" against Kelly -- days after President Donald Trump accused the Arizona senator and other Democratic lawmakers of "seditious behavior" for the video.

The lawmakers' urging troops to disobey illegal orders was viewed by the Trump administration as a wink-and-nod call for insubordination.

Secretary of War Pete Hegseth slammed a post that Sen. Mark Kelly made about his service, saying that, "your medals are out of order and rows reversed."

In an appearance on “Jimmy Kimmel Live,” Sen. Mark Kelly, D-Ariz. blasted Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth, calling him unqualified and saying he just wants to please President Donald Trump.
