A woman who stowed away in the bathroom of a Delta Airlines flight from New York City to Paris in November 2024 has been convicted of a federal stowaway charge and could spend up to 6 months in prison.

Svetlana Dali scooted from bathroom to bathroom in the Boeing and wandered its aisles. She testified in her own behalf and interrupted the trial repeatedly.

A jury on Thursday convicted a woman who sneaked onto a flight from New York to Paris without a boarding pass by slipping past security and airline gate agents at John F. Kennedy International Airport last year.
