Thursday evening will be wet and windy across New England with the rain moving quickly but the wind lingering into Halloween. Expect periods of moderate to heavy rain Thursday night, tapering off early Friday morning.

The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration released its nationwide winter weather predictions for 2025 and can serve as a guide to prepare you for winter. Much of the nation may experience warmer temperatures than usual for the months of November, December and January.
