Some developers feel ambivalent about the artificial-intelligence releases expected to come out of Apple’s annual developer gathering—a far cry from when WWDC was tech’s main event.

Apple announced on Monday a slew of artificial intelligence features across its software and services and said it will open up the underlying technology it uses for Apple Intelligence, laying groundwork for future advances.

It's safe to say Apple Intelligence hasn't landed in the way Apple likely hoped it would. However, that's not stopping the company from continuing to iterate on its suite of AI features. During its WWDC 2025 conference on Monday,
