Eagles sign QB Ian Book to the active roster, activate DE Bryce Huff from IR
The Eagles signed Ian Book to the practice squad Thursday. The team signed him to the active roster Saturday. That will allow Book to serve as the emergency third quarterback in Sunday’s game against the Cowboys. Starter Jalen Hurts won’t play because of a concussion, so Kenny Pickett will start and Tanner McKee will serve as the backup.
