Middletown police said a search resumed Wednesday for a car that was reported to have been driven into the Connecticut River at Harbor Park Tuesday night.

Dive teams are continuing to search for a vehicle in the Connecticut River Wednesday morning and are still investigating whether anyone is inside, according to crews on the scene.

The search for a vehicle in the Connecticut River is expected to resume at Harbor Park in Middletown on Wednesday morning. Officers were called to Harbor Park around 7:40 p.m. after it was reported that someone drove their vehicle into the Connecticut River.
