The Washington Commanders' contract discussions with Terry McLaurin received an update from Dianna Russini of The Athletic on Monday.

The 49ers' offer of Brandon Aiyuk is intriguing but ultimately the Commanders would likely turn down all of these potential deals.

If that happens, the Commanders have given an initial indication of who McLaurin's replacement will be, and it's a familiar name for NFC East fans. Washington released its first unofficial depth chart of training camp, and listed behind McLaurin at his WR position: Michael Gallup.
