Discovery for $30.00 per share in cash, just days after Netflix had agreed to acquire Warner Bros. Discovery in a deal valued at $27.75 per share.

Donald Trump chimed in again on 60 Minutes, CBS and Paramount, this time complaining that the newsmagazine has treated him “far worse” since the David Ellison-led takeover of the company. He wrote on Truth Social,

Greene criticized the president on “60 Minutes,” claiming Trump had been “extremely unkind” when she received death threats, and that other Republicans are “terrified to step out of line.”

The president referred to Greene as a "low IQ traitor" and demands a "complete and total APOLOGY" from Paramount.

According to The Wall Street Journal, David Ellison, the CEO of Paramount and the son of billionaire Oracle co-founder and Trump ally Larry Ellison, has assured Trump administration officials that he would make “sweeping changes” to CNN if WBD were to come under his ownership.
