Bitter cold temperatures are expected Monday and Tuesday as an area of arctic high presser settles across the region, according to the National Weather Service and Bartholomew County Emergency Management.
Tuesday: Snow is likely, mainly between 1 p.m. and 4 p.m. There will be increasing clouds with a high near 22. Wind chill values will be as low as zero. The chance of precipitation is 60%. Total daytime snow accumulation of less than a half inch is possible.
Bartholomew County Emergency Management says the National Weather Service is predicting dry and milder temperatures today through Friday, followed by a rain-snow mix on Friday night. Rain will mix with and change to snow before ending late day Saturday according to the National Weather Service with little to no accumulation expected.
