Honestly, Javonte Williams' failure to return to his pre-injury form has necessitated wholesale change. The Broncos' backfield pickle was further illustrated by NFL Network's Maurice Jones-Drew listing Williams as the 30th-best starting running back on his season-ending rundown.
The Broncos currently have four running backs under contract for the 2025 season: Jaleel McLaughlin, Audric Estime, Blake Watson and Tyler Badie. Denver seems likely to add a running back in 2025, but it remains to be seen if the club will attempt to re-sign Williams.
