OTTAWA – Dylan Cozens was vacationing in the Bahamas with several teammates during the NHL All-Star Break in February 2023 when the Sabres announced his seven-year commitment to Buffalo.

Cozens scored a goal and added two hits in Wednesday's 4-2 win over the Hurricanes. Cozens gave the Sabres a 2-0 lead at 8:18 of the second period with a goal that came against the run of play.
