Former New York Yankees closer Mariano Rivera and his wife Clara Rivera have been accused of covering up child sex abuse within their church, the Refuge of Hope.

New York Yankees legend Mariano Rivera and his wife are accused of covering up child sexual abuse at their own home and a church in a new lawsuit.

The bombshell lawsuit, which was viewed by The Post, was filed last week in State Supreme Court in Westchester County.

To this point, only famed Yankee closer Mariano Rivera has been elected to the Hall of Fame unanimously — not Babe Ruth, not Hank Aaron, not Ken Griffey Jr. nor Derek Jeter, just Rivera. Could Suzuki be the second?

Rivera and his wife aren't named in the lawsuit but it does accuse them of knowing about the alleged abuse at the camp.
