As much as 10.5 inches of snow fell late Thursday and early Friday in Kansas, the National Weather Service said.

Conditions are expected to remain dry and cold on Tuesday, which should be the coldest day of the week. Temperatures on Tuesday could remain in the upper teens in northern Missouri, while much of the Kansas City metro is likely to experience a high near 22 degrees.

Manhattan Regional Airport recorded the lowest temperatures in Kansas on Monday of minus 12 degrees and on Tuesday of minus 15.

Enjoy the next few days, which will see temperatures climb into the 40s, maybe 50s in some locations, because another arctic blast will bring the Kansas City area its coldest weather of the season, according to the National Weather Service.
