The Baltimore Orioles might not be done making a splash in 2025 free agency even after reportedly signing Pete Alonso away from the New York Mets.
Pete Alonso was a great start, but the Orioles are still an ace away from being a World Series contender. Tarik Skubal, Freddy Peralta and Edward Cabrera would all be excellent additions.
The early smoke has indicated Elias has been in on all the key free agent targets – Cease, Valdez, Zac Gallen and Ranger Suarez. In a winter in which the Orioles simply cannot come up empty in their pitcher search, jumping quickly into the market could be particularly important here.
