STONE MOUNTAIN, Ga. - The Adventure Outpost at the Waterfront in Stone Mountain Park has officially opened just days before the highly anticipated annual Summer at the Rock event.

The Stone Mountain Golf Club, on the eastern side of the lake, is the only heavily trafficked section of the park near the area affected by the fire.

The La Porte County Health Department has issued a Swim with Caution Advisory for the water in Stone Lake off New Stone Lake Beach on Thursday.

There are 15 miles of hiking trails as well as fishing, kayaking, and paddle board opportunities on Stone Mountain Lake. You can also camp — and "glamp" — on the grounds.
