SEPTA has hired a new company to run its problem-plagued fare card system. The board approved spending $211 million over 12 years with the new vendor to design a new system, dubbed SEPTA Key 2.0.
The board signed two contracts worth $230 million with Cubic Transportation Systems to install the system and operate customer service.
