A toddler was rushed to a hospital in serious condition after nearly drowning at a pool at a Tempe apartment complex Friday afternoon.

He doesn't have an attorney yet. Police say Escobedo met the 20-year-old victims at a Mill Avenue bar early Sunday and then invited them to the pool at the Mission Palms Hotel.
