LANSING, MI -- A Clinton County woman’s yearly tradition landed her a $1 million jackpot prize while she was playing the Michigan Lottery’s Major Cashword instant game.

A Michigan woman gifted her relatives lottery tickets for Christmas, hoping one of them would be the “big” one. But it was hers — the one she kept for herself — that left her stunned, lottery officials said.

LANSING, Mich. (WILX) - A 66-year-old woman in Clinton County gave herself quite the Christmas present this year. The player, who chose to remain anonymous, won $1 million in the Michigan Lottery’s Major Cashword Instant Game.

SAGINAW COUNTY, MI – A woman thought she was having a heart attack after she won $855,779 playing the Michigan Lottery. The 63-year-old Saginaw County resident, who chose to remain anonymous, won the Lucky 7s Fast Cash jackpot after buying a ticket at the The Big Ugly Fish, located at 1418 State Street in Saginaw, on Dec. 30.

Indiana resident Emily Hickox, 25, ended up with a winning Michigan Lottery ticket worth $500,000 after doing a white elephant gift exchange with her family.

LAPEER COUNTY, Mich. (FOX 2) - After 10 years of playing the Powerball, a Michigan man won a big prize - $1 million. Robert Benaglio, of Dryden, matched the five white balls in the Dec. 23 Michigan Lottery drawing with a ticket he bought at a BP gas station in Metamora.
