The Oilers have made two roster moves to make room for Zach Hyman's season debut against the Hurricanes this weekend.

The Oilers must decide between trading for immediate help, or staying the course and building on the 2025-26 foundation.

Edmonton's Jack Roslovic took advantage of a turnover by Cam York and scored off a 2-on-none break 1:19 into overtime, giving the Oilers a 2-1 victory over the Philadelphia Flyers.
