With the Minor League season opening this week, here's where Kansas City’s Top 30 Prospects are projected to start:

Outfielder Drew Waters was the first minor-league player to get a single, double, triple and home run in a game when he accomplished the feat for the Triple-A Omaha Storm Chasers. And Waters did it the hard way, hitting an inside-the-park home run and an infield single.

BALTIMORE -- Star shortstop Gunnar Henderson is expected to return to the Baltimore Orioles on Friday at Kansas City after missing the start of the season with a right intercostal strain. Manager Brandon Hyde said Henderson is "probable" for the series opener against the Royals. He was not activated for Thursday's home game against Boston.

The 23-year-old's presence in the lineup is a major reason the Orioles reached the playoffs in each of the last two seasons and once again have high expectations in 2025. That he won't end up missing much time with his early injury should also help them avoid falling into too much of a hole in the AL East in the initial portion of the season.

KANSAS CITY, Mo. — The Royals’ AAA affiliate, the Omaha Storm Chasers, were in for quite a treat yesterday when OF Drew Waters hit the cycle: a single, double, triple and home run. Waters is the first Omaha hitter to record the cycle in over a decade, Jimmy Paredes did in May of 2024.
